When booking your appointment, you will be required to leave a deposit. The deposit amount will reflect the length of the appointment and the amount of drawing needed to be ready to go on the day of your project!

Please note: We will never contact you in order to offer you services if you have not first contacted us. You will only ever be asked to leave a deposit with Rocky or Kimmy, and only via cash or Square.

Booking is never done via DMs or private messenger on social media. Do not leave a deposit with someone via social media; we will never ask you for a deposit via DM or private messenger on social media.
Design consultations:

For large-scale, custom projects, Rocky will need to have a consultation with you before you can book an appointment with her. Rocky prefers to consult in person for large-scale, custom projects; however, she is able to talk with you over the phone if it is necessary.

Please note: Rocky is always very happy to explain the choices she is making, and to include you in preferential decisions. But again, Rocky is always going to advocate for the longevity of your tattoo.

Some projects are rather straightforward. For most of these projects, Kimmy will usually be able to book you for your tattoo with Rocky. She may have a few questions to clarify details Rocky will need.

What you would like tattooed: What imagery are you wanting to include in this tattoo? Examples: an animal, a shelf, a plant

Where you want this tattoo to be on your body: Please also include a picture of your body part, ideally taken by someone else at a straight-on angle.

How big do you want this tattoo to be: You can give a rough estimate such as in inches, compared to a common object (ex: a baseball or softball), or if you want it to cover a body part entirely.

If the tattoo will be in color or black and grey

What style of tattoo will this be: Try to attach pictures of tattoos in the style you’re looking for? Ideally, these would be Rocky’s work. Rocky specializes in neotraditional tattoo style.

Any reference photos you have for this project: These can be photos of tattoos (ideally Rocky’s, but any tattoo made by a real person would be fine), actual photos taken by you or other humans, or sketches you have drawn.

Please do not have AI generate an image for your idea. You can just email us what you would have typed in to prompt it. We can collaborate on a tattoo with just a written description. AI does not understand how to design for tattoos and presents people with an unattainable vision. It is actually much easier for Rocky to work off of words and personal doodles. Also, AI-generated images lock both you and Rocky into a specific visual direction, which deters the collaborative process.

When you email your tattoo ideas, you will be chatting with Kimmy! Rocky is constantly in contact with Kimmy, so rest assured that whatever you and Kimmy talk about will be discussed with Rocky.

It is okay to know all the details that you want in your tattoo! It is okay not to know and want to collaborate! Rocky is happy to meet you wherever you are on this spectrum.
